For an extra battery for a Etrike, could I add another after market battery in parallel( Maybe less cost)? Or are there necessary circuits in the batteries separate from the trike electronics such as warning circuitry, safety circuitry? THANKS Ray

I've decided if I get another battery, I'll use a switch to transfer the batteries one at a time. I believe it will be safer that way. Anyone know of a source for less expensive Lithium batteries?

Try American Electric.

Be wary of those cut rate lithium batteries you see on Ebay. Unless you like fires. If you like fires, buy away :)

I bought a 'Watt Cycle' 12v 100ah lithium battery for my trolling motor last year WITH BMS and Bluetooth for $179. Best trolling motor battery I've ever bought. They make much smaller ones as well. I bet there will be some great deals on LiFeP04 batteries on Amazon for prime days in October
