FYI - I know a lot of you look for deals on these. Most places have them going from $1.70 - $2.25 a piece. Just stopped at a Buccees while on a trip, and yet again, they have the best prices. It is usually summer vacations at Buccees I load up for the upcoming fall. $11.95 for a 8 pack. That's $1.49 a battery. A simple gas/breakfast turned really expensive with the wife rolling her eyes 🤣. If you run as many cameras as I do, dimes add up

Can't even tell you how much I anticipate going to a Buc-ee's. Heard about their BBQ chips.

Buc-ee's: Stop, Pee, Marvel,
then spend $50 on snacks & $200 on batteries 😅

Even The BSK would be impressed :)
and walk out poorer.

They also have some seasonal items that quickly rotate. Be sure to check out both the front & back of the store. I've been pleasantly surprised with some of my finds. Usually good quality stuff at a reasonable price.

I've never shopped at Bucees... but stop there everytime I come to TN...

I come around to back of store (less crowded) and gas up (pay for the car wash... its great. Costs $1 if you get 15g gas)

Run inside, pee, pick up a Texas cheesesteak wrap. Buy two 20lbs bags of ice for $2 each and put in the cooler. (I have a chest freezer on the farm i keep stocked with ice for game processing, cold drinks, etc).

Drive thru the car wash and get back on the road.

Total stop time 15m.

Tennessean for 30 years and I've never been to a Buc-ees. None in my area.

15 minutes is a pipe dream for my crew. From getting off the exit until getting back on the interstate - 39 minutes. But that's with a wife and daughter and letting the dog go pee.

Oh and the cheesesteak wrap, it's good, but first time I had one, had to make an emergency stop on a backroad in the middle of AL about 20 minutes later. Never again

When I think of Buccees, the first 2 things that come to mind are AA batteries and brisket sandwich 🤣. But everything is good and priced right there

Batteries are priced right and bathrooms are the cleanest you will find. They even have some seasonal hunting supply items.

Actually, if the Murfreesboro Buc-ees will be near I-40, I will certainly stop there on the way up to the Plateau.
No, its going off I 24 on the southeast part of Murfreesboro.

I suspect its going to be a busy one... not as bad as the one in Foley, Alabama, but should be way busier than the one I hit on 65 North just below Athens Alabama.

If I cant get in and out in 15 minutes (outside peak lunch or dinner times), I wont use it.

I avoid Buccees on holiday travel weekends as well.

Can't stand their famous BBQ pulled pork sandwich... too much fat, too much sauce, very little meat.

Never eaten the brisket sandwich, but the ones I've seen others order had very little meat as well.

I'm going to have to remember this Buccees/lithium AA connection. Not having much luck finding deals on Energizer Lithium AAs right now. Best I've found is $1.74/battery. At that price, my battery bill is going to be near $300.

I agree. The food everyone raves about isn't worth the stop in my opinion. With that being said I'm up for some cheap lithium batteries though.
Well that's disappointing. Still gonna have to try the brisket sandwich at least once, even if it sucks!

I've had way worse fast food. Its not award winning brisket but its better than some cheap drive thru junk. They also have a good selection of fudge, jerky and other snacks...and zero doubt the cleanest bathrooms in town along with all the registers open to keep people moving....Just go in there expecting it to be what it is, truck stop / gas station food.

I pay 15 cents per battery. I cant imagine 1.50 a battery. Just got a 100 in for 15.00 with free shipping. I knkw lithiums are better but i can get 2-5 months out of these in my cell cams -depending on weather and location/activity so that works for me

You havent missed a thing. We stop at one once a yr in northern alabama on way to beach. Buy 50.00 worth of jerky for breakfast and lunch so we dont have to stop again. Too many people there for me. We call it six flags over 7-11

Tullahoma is one of my favorite towns. They have a harbor freight, they have a dunhams sports and they have Taylors archery…..thats all anyone needs

I agree 100%. But I'm married and momma has a knack for shopping and variety of food. The Boro is a good compromise between what we have locally and fighting traffic on I-24 in Nashville. Just gotta time it right.

My daughter is a hardcore shopper. Luckily her and my wife are the shopping team. I agree to stay home and watch the farm. Bacon sammich is fine with me. Tullahoma is the one town im willing ro go to on occasion. Every once in a while we have to to ship to clients after the local fedex cutoff times and have to go to armory drive in mboro. I take a zanax (prescribed to me) before i leave
