hate to hear this. one of my favorite hunting properties is in lincoln county.
Used to have a great lease in the Liberty community but the landowner crashed his ultra light plane on that very property. He was a really good guy , I hate to deal with farm animals but I helped him catch a calf once and he was very appreciative .His son inherited it and thought we might still get to lease it but he was from California so there you have it . Still had Giles at that time so I was satisfied putting more time in it but eventually lost it . Lincoln rules !

I would expect to get reports from everywhere west of Murfreesboro. Basically, all the areas that went through (and are still going through) this late summer's drought.

Ive not found anything dead on the west side of the county on the Lincoln/Moore Co line
I hunt two farms that share a common fence. One farm is in Lincoln County and if you cross the fence to hunt the other farm you are in Moore County. So far I have not seen or heard of any sick deer either.

Joy-rode my RTV down to the Elk River yesterday afternoon. No dead either on the way to and from or at the river itself.

I would only hope that if it is bad they will adjust or eliminate the 3 does a day. But that would be too much like wildlife management and they seem to not care to participate.

I had a buddy that found 2 dead in Hickman a couple weeks ago and I found 1 dead in a creek in Hickman the same week.
i have 2 fawns living basically on my back porch. their mom was a poor as a snake and finally died in my yard. They seem to be healthy. they are almost tame- ehd is my best bet as teh culprit

The area in Lincoln county I am hearing most about is the south west portion and along Giles county line. There were 8 found on 1 farm along the elk river bottoms. Both bucks and doe deer. Several others being found by others in same area. Some being good bucks I hear.

Found a small fawn dead Saturday on our place in Wayne. No indication how it died but wasn't caught by anything. Would be surprised if ehd as have a lot of year round springs & flowing creeks that haven't gone dry in 24 years. Didn't have much mortality in 2007 either.

People have been finding several in Giles County. Around 30 found floating the Elk River in the south end of the county. 11 found on Richland creek in northern Giles County. Several really good bucks.
Found one Saturday in the Elk before Morris Ferry bridge
