After seeing only young bucks for the last couple of weeks, last night the does made an appearance.
A 6pt was hot on two young does, running them around a field when I took one of the does.
Nice to finally see movement.

While I was at work today 3 of my hunting buddies said it was wide open this pm. Finally!!!!!

Last two days for me the young bucks have been bumping does, while the mature bucks are just cruising from bedding area to area sniffing and waiting on a doe to come into estrus. Bucks are ready as always, just still waiting on the ladies

Hunted a place on the east side this afternoon that I haven't hunted this year. The action was great. Bucks cruising and saw one doe that must of been hot because 3 bucks followed the same trail she took into the woods. Saw a big bodied buck at last light and couldn't tell how big he was. We will see how the morning action tommorow and maybe this wind will lay down.

Think its pretty much done where I hunt. Hunted 22-28. Seen most 26-28. Evenings went cold. Seen plenty of big ones with does after dark. Mornings yielded anywhere from 3-10 bucks. Lots of chasing and tending. Will be back mid December...

I hunt Giles county the next county over and last weekend all I saw was 3 spikes and a button buck. So hopefully the bigger ones will be moving better next time I head down there in the next week or so.

we started seeing chasing last wed, before thanksgiving here in wayne county.....then the next 3-4 days at least one hunter reported it, before that it was just scent checking does by the bucks.
