What is the going rate for lime per ton now?

I paid 32 a ton spread. I have seen cheaper but.....

We are getting 25 tons delivered,but will have to spread it ourselves. It will cost us $500 for the lime and then $50 as day for the spreader. I was just wondering if this was inline with what others are paying.

I don't have the equipment so for me it is a lot cheaper to pay a little extra and have him do it. 32 a ton for me is a steal compared to me spreading bagged lime.

10 per if you take a truckload from Floyd trucking in Wayne county....tkld = 20+ ton

Lime is very inexpensive, but it is usually so far away that the trucking bill is what drives up the price. I think our coop charges like $24/ton spread. If you want a load dumped on your property for you to spread, it could be from $10/ton and upward.
