I need 6-8 tons of lime, but everywhere I call has a minumum of 25 or more tons. I have a buddy that has a trailer that he has hauled lime with before, so I dont have to have it delivered.
Does anyone know of somewhere that rents buggies with a lime belt? Any suggestions

Cdave I'm in the same boat. I can get the buggie but not a small load of lime delivered an dumped. Co-op only spreads full load of 10t @$30 per ton.

Hire someone with a small dumptruck to haul what you need from the nearest quarry that has lime. The dispatcher at the quarry should be able to give you the names of some folks that will haul for you. By the way if it takes an extra ton or so to make a load it will not hurt your ground.

I went to the co-op last year and got my lime and rented a wheel driven spreader that I could spread it with my truck (no tractor). You might have to make a couple trips, with that much. I don't remember how many tons it held.
