They move so much better in the cold.

Yes indeed. I'll take cold and sunny over any other weather day for deer hunting.
Same! With about a 3-8 mph consistent wind is perfect. Anything over 15+ absolutely obliterates my energy for whatever reason. And I hate it when it is dead still. Not only can you get handcuffed real quick, but I personally do not think deer like to move when it's dead still. They're exposed and they're body language shows it from what I've seen. Very on edge.

Most people don't realize that specific mph wind is actually quite a lot. I know from running fires and even using my kestrel while hunting. That's enough to keep things moving (your scent) and allow your movement, but still being able to hear. And the deer prefer that mph to move over none or high wind
