Lifetime License Approval/Validation

Looking to purchase lifetime license. If I apply this week, is it enough time to get approved to be valid by turkey opener? Don't want to sink more money into license fees than necessary to be legal for one or two weekends of turkey season. How long does it take to be "legal" once applied for?
 
Well, the lady at TWRA main headquarters stated 10 to 15 days. Online purchase for lifetime is not an option. All other license, yes, but not lifetime. If purchased this week, would not be valid by turkey opener and would need to buy a license to cover that.

Am just gonna buy a sportsman n line and purchase lifetime next year….

Hmmm?

It's been a few years since I got mine, but I thought I got a paper copie that was valid until my card came? But one thing you can be sure of is, things change.
 
Sometimes...you just got to do the right thing.

The right thing is to apply and pay....then go hunt and don't worry about it. I guess a lot of that depends if you are hunting public or private. The reality is....you are most likely not to get caught, you could show the officer your paperwork, and shame on TWRA if they prosecute because a judge is just going to throw it out. Thats my $.03 because mine is worth more. :)
 
The last one I got for our youngest came quickly. I would almost do what Antler Daddy said. Not your fault the processing is a little longer if it doesn't get there by Saturday.
