the season are bow, bow/MZ, and bow/MZ/gun. all you ned is a bow tag and you limits apply to each particular season.
So, correct me if Im wrong, but if I used a bow all year, I just need my bow tag, and I can kill the allowed limits in each season as well? For instance, 4 does in bow, 1 in mz (in my area) and the one doe in rifle, along with 3 bucks! Correct?
Maybe partially correct.
With your type 001 combo hunt/fish and an archery license you can hunt in all three seasons. You are allowed the season bag limit, but only while that season is in effect. For example, once the archery only season closes, you can't continue to take does against the archery season limit.
There is not an antlerless (doe) deer in the g/m/a season bag limit. It is buck only up to the season limit of 3 total for the year.
There are Special Season Antlerless hunts that take place during the g/m/a season. To participate in those hunts you have to have either a Sportsman's License (annual or lifetime) or a Type 94 permit that is required for ALL ages. In addition to the licenses you have, you will have to buy that PERMIT in order to hunt those county Special Season hunts.
