Some time ago, I asked if anyone had ever returned their scope to leupold for cleaning and inspection. I have a 1991 vintage Var-X 3 scope and I figured it was time for a "tune up". I also sent back a pair of Leupold binos that I have had for about the same length of time.
Got them back today and indeed the scope is clearer than I remember it being when I sent it back. They determined that the objective bell was also bent and replaced it for $25. Both the scope and binos function like they were brand new and the return shipping was free.
