Just because I like doing it and because I am old and forgetful I always make a list of every thing I can possibly think of for opening weekend.
I will never forget the year I had probably $200 worth of food & supplies in our big box and got ready to start cooking and there was no way to light the stove. :rotf: :rotf:

So what is on your list of something you just can't live without.
Yes, toilet paper or paper towels is number one.

What is something most people might not think of to pack?
ie: Toothpicks or hand soap & water.

Yes I am bored and yes I am ready to go. :rotf:

I got the honey covered. Lol
I also got a tiny little gun cleaning kit I am putting in my bag for when my gun slides out of the case and gets a barrel full of mud at the ramp.lol

Hearing protection for me

I bought a pair of the Walker's Razor ear muffs the other day.
They are amazing!
I will definitely be wearing them in the blind!!!

Aluminum foil, extra duck cord, a few zip ties. extra AA batteries for motion decoys that use them, a dry hat in the truck for those rainy days, something to cover/fill holes in the blind wall that you didn't find earlier and there is a breeze blowing through, a pair of pliers/wire cutters, couple of extra decoy weights. Yeah, I carry a box of what ifs sometimes, this mostly fits into a 30 cal shell box so it does not take up a lot of room.

If you are cooking a lot make sure you have some spatulas, tongs for bacon or other meats. Nonstick spray, some decent cooking pans, aluminum foil, few pot holder.

on the wings of a snow white dove
wet baby wipes are a must.

our group hunts what we call "light weight style"

we never cook in the blind.

on a rare trip someone might have a Mr. Buddy heater

everyone who brings food will have it pre-cooked so no need for a stove in the blind.

my greatest new gadget is the "Volt Heated gloves" that I bought last year.

Gun oil Yes!
May sound crazy but trash bags. Can't stand wrappers, paper towels, etc... laying all over the blind.
I'm the same way man, can't stand mess !
