Right now I'm thinking I should have concentrated on killing a turkey. about 5 flew down about 50 yds. from me right after daylight. 3 were good size gobblers, the other 2 must be jakes they are still kee keeing as I am typing. No deer yet.
Tried using a kee kee call I was taught by whistling....it gets their attention they are answering or telling be to shut up..LOL!

I would have figured these last couple mornings would have been good ones. I guess I am just not recognizing their new patterns yet. Got some scout'n to do before taking out the ole smokepole.
 
Bumped out 10 or so on the way in, 5 min to day light i got called in to work bumped them out of the way to leave would have been a good morning for sure!
 
Hunted a new stand this morning. Saw 10 does. Switched stands for midday and will go back to the new one for the evening. They're cutting beans on the neighbor's place, and it's keeping them stirred up.
