Let this one walk

Had this guy come in to 15 yds at 3:30 today. The picture is not that clear. But he had a wide 4 it's on the right. And a single spike on the left. Didn't want to tag out on him yet maybe later in year. My question is do you think he has bad genes or was injured on the left side and that is why his left didn't grow. He would have been a decent 8 if he was normal. I didn't see any limping or obvious injuries and I watched him for 5 minutes.

No way to know for sure if it's genetics or injury, or if it's an injury, that it won't show up in subsequent racks. You did right if it's not the buck that will make you happy though.
