Leg hold traps

What's the best trap out there now days for coyotes and bobcats. We got a over population of both and I'm going to have to get back into trapping to make any progress. I know these days you have to use rubber jawed traps as well. Just looking to get the best and easiest ready to go leg holds. What's best and where do you order yours?

I have some duke #3 rubber jaw traps.
Don't buy them. Reviews on the trapping sites are bad and my experiences agree.

The duke #4's are supposedly a better trap.
If you are only trying to get rid of a couple animals they should suffice. If you are going to trap a lot of yotes and have the cash, look at the MB 550's ($20 ea or better yet the 650's if you can find them with rubber jaws.
Blue Ridge Trapping supply is good.

Since you said "ready to go" look at the MB 550's with shock springs already installed. You will also need a staking system.
Berkshires have worked great for me.

Snares are also an option.
Where are you in TN?

If you are only looking for cats and yotes, I would get MB650 rubber jaw. Awesome trap. Put the pan tension at 4#'s so you don't catch greys or other smaller critters.

Dickson county. I plan on getting a lot of use out of them as are predator pop has gotten out of control. They run all our internal roads and multiple fields so I thought leg holds would be best? Plus all my experience is with leg holds. I've never ran snares... The stakes are no problem I have the rebar and wire already. I will look at their site.

Yeah cats and yotes are what I'm after as I've never even seen a fox out there but see yotes almost every hunt.

That's 2 votes for the MB650 so I'm going to see what prices I can find on those to start...

Based on what you said, the 650's would be worth the money.

Go to youtube and check out wolfernation for some how to on sets.
