I've this No. 4 for about 24 years now. Haven't shot it in quite some time, did great, just too heavy and too long, time to move on.

Wood is in excellent condition as-is the bore. Bolt head is marked "0", meaning it is the shortest headspaced bolt (which is good). It was made in 1942 but doesn't look like it was ever issued since the wood is such good shape.

Price drop to: $400, FTF; I-65 near the TN/AL border.

Beautiful rifle! I own a SMLE No.1 Mk.iii which is really fun to shoot!
If someone on Tndeer buys this, PM me with your address and I'll send you a handbook for the No.4. Amazon sent it to me by mistake when I ordered one for my SMLE.

Well that reminds me: I too have a book on the No. 4. the question is: Can I find it? If I can, I'll post a pic and we can see if you have the same book.

Thanks,

BTW, just to save yourself some time: This offer is limited to TNDeer members in good standing.

By definition, this excludes scammers and/or thieves, so don't bother.
