I also feel like they sent him out there a few years too long. Herbstreit definitely looked after him and carried him when he'd struggle with his words. Gameday will definitely miss his presence. Like @Gravey said, I'll miss hearing "not so fast, my friend"...

When Pat McAfee FIRST came onto the scene I did NOT like his style of broadcasting. It was NOT the norm of MEN in the booth with Blazers on being professional broadcasters. I felt like it was going to ruin broadcasting completely. I will have to admit I was wrong. I think he has totally grasped the need for a totally new younger audience and found a way to get us old grumps along for the ride.

Desmond is pretty quick witted and has a vast knowledge of the game and comes off sharp. While he can be annoying at times and is argumentative with his position sometimes I do appreciate him being there. I can see where that gripes alot of people. :)

I think the whole Game Day crew as assembled is one of the best they have ever had. I will miss Corso but agree its time for him to Retire.
