Going to check out a property next to mammoth cave state park. Dont know much about that area but the guy said it's full of deer. Anyone have any experience in that area?

yes, there are some good bucks around mamoth cave area. Not as much ag as there is just west of there, but you have plenty of potential. We are about 30 minutes east of there and we took a booner last year.
 
I lived a few miles from the park. It does hold a lot of deer. The problem is getting them off of the park. If they feel any pressure they will return to the park where there is no pressure.
