Is this the easiest and fastest way to real dial in a scoped rifle ? I can get close other ways but I really want to get my rifles shooting the best they can.

When it comes to shooting a rifle, something has to give. When you put them in the sled nothing gives and all the force of the rifle being fired gets absorbed by the stock.
Sand bags are the way to go, IMO anyways. If you do decide to use a lead sled (or similar type of rest) place it on a slick table and don't put any weight in the sled (if the gun recoils enough that it's still too much for you this way, it's time to find another rifle/load). And keep in mind that for a final sight in, the gun needs to be shot and held the same way you'll hunt with it. A lead sled won't let you do that, sand bags will.
