Note that squirrel season closes for 2 days on Sat-Sun September 3 & 4 (Labor Day Weekend).
This is in part to reduce potential conflicts between archery deer hunters, hikers, other user groups . . . . . . . . . & squirrel hunters on this "busy" weekend.

Note that LBL's archery deer season opens on September 3 this year in both KY & TN.
