what about checking them in? do they give you crap if all you bring them is a head? I thought about this, but they go through the whole weighing, jaw bone aging, etc. I don't know if they will let you quarter them up and bring them a head?

They dont care. just make sure you have the head when you bring it back.

LBL is on my radar for bow hunting. I've never been there to hunt, but several times to hike and mountain bike. Those are some big, beautiful woods up there!
