LBL camping suggestions?

Had a funny call tonight. Buddy of mine looking for suggestions for a camping trip.
Wants to go camp way back where they wont see anybody. Has a back pack, small spinning rod, wants to cook something crazy over an open fire etc.

SO I get to questioning him and he has never been camping. One buddy is a "fat guy" who has never camped and the other one has camped with his wife and kids so he "thinks he is pretty tough". :grin: ( do I detect some middle aged guys who watch too much Survivor man ? ) :D He did mention Bear Grylllis 3 times in our conversation. :D :D

I figured I would do him a favor and talked him out of doing the AT or getting lost in Big South Fork for their first trip. Suggested car camping for their first attempt in case they get weather or need some extra gear.

So.... Anybody have a suggestion on a good place to camp at LBL that is near a creek/stream within a couple hundred yards of a place to park? They do NOT want to camp at a campground so Piney is out. Don't want other people around either so parking at the end of the road on the lake is probably out too.

Its been several years since I hunted up there and don't remember any of the roads that had good spots on them.

Third week of October, not sure if there is a quota hunt going on or not.

I could point out some secluded spots near the lake, only stream I can think of runs under the road before you get to piney. Think maybe the juvy hunt is that weekend might want to check and see.

Area 16. From Fort Henry Rd (230) turn onto Road 400 and go to the end and park. Cross the creek on the hiking trail bridge and just a short distance is a decent campsite that is just off the hiking trail and close to the creek and beaver ponds. There is a spring that I have used for drinkin water close to the campsite. Look to the East from camp and the spring is at the base of the very steep hill.
