This is the last year I put in for the ml hunt! I have never seen a buck big enough to shoot at over there. I only live about 20 minutes or so from it and small game hunt over there a good bit. I only know of 1 or 2 guys that have ever shot a buck there. Plenty of does and small bucks thou.

I have seen some VERY nice deer come off that place. Its just like any other public land, you have to know where the "spots" are. I live maybe 5 minutes from LH and think of that place as my own I've spent so much time there.

i hunted it a couple of years ago and had a blast. didn't see any "shooters" but saw a bunch. some of th elocal guys know the "spots" and will bring in some hosses.

I hunted there quite a bit years ago and actually had a buddy kill what was at the time the largest buck that had ever been killed there according to the area manager. I went back last year and was really dissappointed beautiful woods but just couldn't seem to find the deer. I even tried to talk a guy working for me out of going on his quota draw or at least lowering his expectations and would'nt ya know it he went down a couple of weeks ago and killed a NICE deer. Just goes to show you attitude will make a difference. There are good deer there.

I like the "attitude" part there woodswise! My brother and I are hunting close to this area Saturday with our Knight smokepoles. He is ecstatic, it will be his first Tennessee hunt and I hope he has a great day. I don't care if I see anything, I had a great bow season taking two does already. I really hope he scores big! Thanks, RH

i live in the same couny i drew the ml hunt didnt go. scouted it a bit but when it came time i hunted with a bow on my farm!
