Late season fruit?

This will be my last tree planting in the fall,unless I buy more ground.Mostly gonna do stuff that falls as late as possible.

My ideas are,Japenese Persimmon,Arkansas Black,Hybrid Pear from Edward Fort,Gobbler Saw tooth.

What else?

How much later does the gobbler saw tooth drop than the regular saw tooth?

What are you calling late FH? I don't have any answers, but am interested in anything mid Nov or later. I think I'm gonna be able to pull deer to something dropping. My land is thick enough and I honestly don't hunt it much. My focus will be Chinese Chestnut and late dropping fruit this year. Hope to add 6 -10 this year depending on how much I have left after tuition.

Hardy Cumberland or Goldrush. Hardy Cumberland is one of my favorite, and was actually propagated and spread by UT. You'll see some suppliers listing it as a Mid October apple and others as a Mid November. There is variation even in the same varieties. Ive got some crabs now that will hang through December, not something you can order though. I dont even know a variety name, just have noticed it, only 2 trees, growing close to my home land for several years and propagated it, not a great tasting apple at all but deer do eat them that late.

Don't know of any one has tried to plant or transplant these, but honeylocust are the bomb late in the year after the pods turn sweet. The are native, I don't know much about planting them or how fast they grow.
