Anybody else seeing a majority of their deer the past couple days after 10pm? Guess that bright moons got em feeding after dark. Just checking. Im gona try the 10am-3pm hunt tomm.

Just pulled my card on all my cameras today. All the pics in the last 4 days were after 10am. and no later than 3pm.except for a dozen or so pics of a spike. I had no pics after 3pm.

I was cutting in east Shelby County yesterday and watched a buck, two does and two fawns feeding together. I think is was around 2:30. They were feeding on the edge of the field that I was cutting.

Same here. I believe the combination of cooler temps and zero hunting pressure is the reason for these sightings. The ol' "first come, first serve" basis of dropping acorns may also be a factor.

At least for me, these sightings are limited to does and young bucks. The mature bucks still prefer moving at dawn and dusk.

Saw best movement between 8:30am and 11:00am on Saturday and Sunday. In tree til 11:30am both days. Back at 3:30pm both days, saw a few around 5:30pm. Around 10:00am is when they were moving best for me...

Thats what I thought. I ended up getting up at 945 and hunted til 215pm. Ended up seeing 17 but nothing big enough. All were feeding heaviest right around noon.

I'm gonna give Friday mid-day a shot. I've never had a ton of luck on mid-day hunts, but maybe that will change this year.
