View attachment 65295We had a group of does come out about 30 minutes before dark. This buck came out about 10 minutes later. He was at 281 yards when I ranged him. He sees that group of does and made a beeline for them. When I got him to stop he was at 257 yards. He hit him a little back and single lunged him. So he ran around 100 yards before expiring. We were using a Winchester model 70 243 topped with a Vortex 4-16x44 shooting Winchester power max 100 grain hollow points. This deer looks like he had the mange on his head and neck. I've never seen that before.

Congrats to the lad!! His face looks very similar to the doe I harvested on the last day of 2019 season.
