starts on Friday the 7th and ends Sunday. It's up highway 127 at the Lake Cumberland State park in KY. There's some pretty country up there and the show is fantastic. The admission fee is 5 bucks and worth way more than that.

It's pretty much a gunshow for longrifles and accouterments. Original and contemporary rifles, locks, stocks, and barrels for sale. Powder horns, bags, tomahawks, all kinds of neat stuff and some really great people are there displaying what they've created.

Jim Chambers, Ed Rayl, Wallace Gusler, Jim Kibler and others were there two years ago. Mel Hankla usually has some kind of performance on Fridays. I didn't get to go last year.

You are right on TJ. The wife and I attended. Great show and great people. Amazing all the good stuff displayed and was even able to handle.

Heck 348Winchester, wish I'd known you were there....wouldn't have minded meeting you.

As for the one at the Museum of Appalachia, as of now, I won't be attending, although I'd certainly love to. It's my understanding the show there is heavy on southern mountain rifles. I have a friend in Alabama who is into that style and wouldn't miss it for the world.
