Beef n Cheddar links. With Bacon wrapped Back Strap Steaks. Steaks were seasoned overnite with Krazy Salt. Then wrapped with bacon. Start with a hot grill and applewood chips, to sear the steak on both sides. This keeps the juices in. Then cook on low and with indirect heat untill done to your taste. VERY IMPORTANT let the meat rest for several minites so the juices have time to redistribute.
DEviled eggs, home grown corn, cucumbers and tomatoes were the side dishes.

mmmm mmmm mmmmm!!!!!......what kinda corn?....boiled on the cob?
On the cob in a cassarole dish. Nuked with butter and Jane's Krazy salt. I leave mine on the cob. I cut it off for the wife and mother -in-law.

I would argue that boiling corn in the summer time when the grill is already going is wrong too! lol Grilled corn. That's the way to do it.

nuked??....thats just wrong...lol
If you do it right much better than BOILED. I do like to gill it with a charcol grill or smoker.I was cooking with the gas grill. After 4 days of Benton counties 30 mile yard sale it was the only option. IT WAS GOOD .Most people nuke it too long. About 2 minites per ear in a covered cassarole dish steams it just right.

Even a gas grill, though, will get those nice caramelized kernels. Yummy! But, I can understand about being tired. I've microwaved corn before and, you know what, it's still good because it is corn on the cob.

I had the grill pretty hot to sear the steaks. Didn't want burnt corn.
