If you had a choice, which would you plant for summer food?
Lab Lab or Corn/beans

If there were corn and beans in the fields surrounding your area, i would plant lab lab otherwise i would have to go with the corn and soybeans, also there will still be ears of corn and or beans on over into the hunting season.

How about LabLab and corn together. That would give the LabLab something to climb on.
