anyone planted lab lab mix and had any success? I have never planted any but was wondering how the deer liked it and was it easy to grow?

Mix of soybean,lablab,iron/clay peas,sunflower, and sorghum
Its a awesome mix. In my opinion,.. the best on the market. I can't buy individual seed in that mix and do it myself for what they charge for a 25 lb bag. With the right weather conditions ,. it really puts out the available forage.
NOW,.. it will be best on acreage that is 1.5 to 2 acres plus ,.. but i planted it in a 1/4 acre test plot and a 1/2 acre test plot on my farm. Very surprised with the results. The soybeans were eaten very quickly on my small plots ,..but,. that allowed the lablab and the peas to mature and continue to put out forage the rest of the summer. Then ,..in late summer , they ate the heads from the sorghum. SO,.. unless you have a high deer density,. this mix might work on a 1 acre plot location. BUT on 2 acres or more ,.. it would be great results.

I've used the PowerPlant with good results. PH and soil moisture key. Now, the Tecomate LabLab Plus is a different story altogether. I don't have large enough plots to plant that gold. The deer just come and pluck it out of the ground as soon as it germinates! LOL! I'll be using PP again this summer.
