Kymco ATV engines

I just bought a 2012 Yamaha Grizzly 300. I got home and googled and found out that Yamaha had a special 2 year run (2012 and 2013) of these ATVs that were produced by Kymco. I think they are a Korean company. Should I be concerned? These engines are not the regular Yamaha engines.

In my experience, they are Japanese quality.
