I will be in Muhlenburg outside Princeton.....my goal was to be in the stand by 5pm......anyone going to where shorts to hunt......I figured I would walk in shorts/tshirt, put my scent lok pants on, then climb, change shirt, put scent lok coat on...about a 30 minute hike in........I am going to buy the doe tag as well, but sure would like to see one or two of the bucks that I saw last year in velvet......

Doe tag? The deer permit comes with buck and doe tag. Unless you're buying the extra tags I don't understand your statement.

wow, I didn't realize this....but I am a non resident, so I took it to me the tag that was bought was an "any" tag.....and the second tag was a doe tag

It used to be that your first tag was good for a 2 does or a doe and buck, then you could purchase an extra tag for two does. If you killed two does before purchasing your extra tag, too bad. No buck for you.

Now, you can shoot two does on your regular tag, purchase the extra and shoot your buck on that one.

I'll be in Muhlenburg for sure this weekend.

Is that the same for Non residents? If so I have let a few does walk that I didn't need to....not that it is a big deal. I have friends that want meat, so if I see a good size solo I will shoot her.

Hope to see pics soon infoman jr!

Good LUCK
Saw a lot of Trigg and Christian County
corn that was picked already yesterday
With all this dry weather it will be going fast

Guess I better look at my map again....so I call in the right county.....wasn't able to go out tonight since my son needed my truck to get to work...but I can go tomorrow/Monday

Isn't Kentucky a one buck state? If I lived there and killed my first buck in September I'd be completely bummed. I'd sit there during rut on my porch and cry. :P

thats why you don't pull the trigger unless it is something that makes sitting the rut out worth it. I always liked getting done early in KY so I wouldn't miss any of the TN season.
