Fished the TWRA Bass Tourney Sat. and the top water bite was on.Top weight was 19 somthing caught all on topwater.Half the field caught all their fish on topwater.We had 12 lbs and we caught all them on topwater also.Would have taken pics but not have time sorry.So if you fishing ky lake anytime soon try the topwater and hang on.We used spit in image and pop r's and a few on buzz baits and zara spooks.Just fish it slower than normal.
 
It's definitely the best topwater bite I've seen in years.

It actually took a little over 23 to win, if you are refering to the TWRF out of Paris yesterday. We had 19.74 and finished 2nd.

Had a blast.
 
Dang man yea i was in it thought u guys had it wraped up for sure.If you ever want to fish toghter up on ky lake let me know i live 2 mile from paris landing bridge.

We actually weighed in after the 23 lb bag was weighed in. I heard it called out when we were bagging up our fish so I knew we were'nt gonna win as soon as I got back! :cry:

I kinda figured we were a bite or two short. We actually weighed 2 fish under 3 lbs. Our other 3 were nice and we had two more big bites but were unable to boat 'em. If we had, it would have been interesting.
 
havent been able to verify but Sam Lashlee said someone had 5 that weighed 47 lbs last week. topwater and rat-l-trap.
