Went yesterday afternoon after work. I started out in the buckbrush and started seeing some shad being busted up on the surface.I switch to a buzz bait and the first cast caught a 2 pounder. I finished the day with 10 bass.I think the topwater bite will get better after the water goes down some.I was loading up my boat and talked to a guy who catfishing and had 6 in the cooler all over 8 pounds each.So the fishing is getting better.Oh and mossyhorns the bream are for sure heating up.Watch a guy in piney bay just wearing them out.Had a live well full of them.he stopped fishing and just let his son do the fishing lol.

I cant wait till that topwater heats up! I might be out there this weekend depending on the weather.

Awesome, tophat! Thanks for the report. I may have to get up there and flip some brush for bass and let my boy bream fish with his Disney pole up on the front deck with me.
