Case in point, charge the non-residents the same as we (from Tennesse) are charged when we go to their state  We give non-residents a super deal. Bugs me a little bit!

That 16 days depends on what zone(county) you are in.

Yes sir you are correct i apologize. I was just stating what my county goes by. I too often forget that it differs from different counties (zones).

what is the total bag limit in ky

In the zone 1 counties the anterless deer bag limit is "unlimited".
You buy a tag for $15 and you can kill 2 antlerless deer. Then you can go back and buy another and keep on as long as you want.

Not sure about the other zones.

Buck limit is one statewide no matter where you hunt.

Annual non-resident all game is $251.00 in TN
Apologies from me guys, somewhat embarrassed also. I have a few out of state friends that come down and hunt. Turns out they generally purchase a type 94 for $175.50, never gave it a second thought. The comment that stated $251.00(073) made me go back the license fees. Hummmm stupidO  they buy 7 day licenses. We do treat our out of state guest well in TN.

I hate the price increase. I was struggling with $190. Now $260 for deer and then add in a turkey tag. I need to work an extra week this year just to afford to hunt in KY. I finally got a great place all to myself in KY to hunt too. Go figure.

The type 94 permit is $21.00 for both residents and nonresidents.

I think the license increase is due to how hard ky is going 2 get hit with non-resident hunters leaving Illinois n coming down. Ohio will be the next to raise their licenses up

Zone 2 is 1 buck and 3 does (or 4 does). Two deer with the regular permit and one bonus permit for the additional two.

The increase is cause, it is time.Ky sets its lisence prices on a five year plan. They set it and every five years, set it again.I have no problem with the increase. Its fair. I have plenty of -places to hunt in Ky. and will gladly pay it.If i had to hunt Tennessee only i would quit.

Just curious..why is that? How is KY so much better that you would quit if you only could hunt TN? I'm not saying its wrong I just would like to understand. Is it you think there is so much a chance for a big buck or so much more population of deer altogether?

Having hunted KY for 7 years now, I can say that something needs to change.

We get tons of OOS hunters for deer. It is obsurd. The hunting here isn't better than other places, but you get to hunt the rut with a centerfire and it is closer to the southern states.

Go to Butler Co opening weekend of gun and look at the licenses plates...unreal!

I paid $290 just to deer hunt IN this year. Duck was like another $70. Prices are hight all over. If you want to deer or turkey hunt several states, you better be ready to pay.
