10 day forecast looking pretty good for the opener! Highs in the upper 70s and lows in the 50s and Sunny. I will take that all day long!

I still have one stand to hang, and I've still not decided which of 3 properties I should hunt. I just moved two cameras yesterday. I know, first world problems...

I will hunt one of the properties you do not choose and then you will know if you made the right choice or not...

It would be a different story if I was looking for the biggest buck, but I can't buy a picture of ANY buck on two of the places (the farms that usually hold the biggest deer).

I am ready !!! :D

Got one little project to do yet but it won't be THAT bad.

Doe slaying opening morning, going after the buck that afternoon.

One day, second or third day of KY season, it was 94-degrees. I killed a 130-class buck just after 1 p.m. I very nearly suffered heat stroke dragging him about 100-yards.

It was a dry year and I found a scummy pond way back in a thicket and judging from the tracks, it was getting heavy use. I hung a stand and kept it a secret. The buck came as anticipated...right in the middle of the day. I got in the stand about 11:45. I'll see if I can find a picture.

I will be in Crittenden County.
I hunted Crittenden co for several years, some really good deer in that area. I would love to find another piece of ground to lease in that area.

Can't wait, will be out in Christian County.

Where at? I live in Christian Co.

I am still undecided if I am gonna hunt or not, but if I do it will be in Christian County. I got a small farm on Antioch Church Rd.
