Okay, have a little more info. get ready for this-it was a public land hunt and a main frame 8 point. I am not sure but I believe it was killed by Chris Parrish. If so, it is his second monster this year with a bow.

Not sure how large the public land is, but I have noticed the larger hunting clubs around here push a lot of deer on to public land (public land that is not pressured to hard). In the Western states I have watched deer leave private as soon as the hunters arrive that paid a trespass fee, only to be killed by a public land hunter.

There is tons of public land in Kansas, and only drawed tags, other than landowners, so it's not that hard to believe. And not to mention the limitations on weapons. And who knows if someone saw this deer last year, he might not have been drawn to repeat this year.
