IMO no other words to describe other then OMG Awesome!! Have experience with ML rifles and handguns, picked up a Knight TK2000 shotgun to add to the collection. My other firearms utilize T7 pellets, work great and very convenient. Not available for the shotgun so �stayed� with T7 in powder form FFg. A nice �basic� load of 100 grains T7, 1-7/8 oz of number 5 lead. Sunday was just right temp wise to try out the feel, sights and pattern. Will generally shoot Nitro loads from my auto, so using that for a comparison time to give it a try. ;)
Stock out of the box, sights as factory, placed targets at 30 yards to start a base line. The windage was �dead� on, slightly high (left image) 22 in the kill zone. Frankly I expected more smoke, pleasantly surprised not much at all compared to my rifle or pistol using 100 grains. Just �twinked� the elevation and sent a few more. 5th shot (right image) 46 in the �toast zone� called it �good� for the afternoon. May try 2 oz and range out to 40 yards, vast majority of my turkey hunting is in the woods. To sum up, absolutely delighted with the TK2000�s quality/fit finish and performance. Can�t wait to try on a real bird. :D

Yes to the 3-1/2". Do you mix 5s & 6s, how many ounces? How about charge 100 grains or bump it up a bit? What range are you comfortable with? Seems as if you have experimented with various loads no sense me trying something if not viable. Any thoughts ........
 
100grs loose 777. Honestly I just mixed the 5s and 6s about 50/50 measured my shot by using the shot cup. I am sure there might be better ways but Tony Smotherman showed me how to do it... This was when he worked for Knight..
It worked great for me. I limited myself to 45yds but it was lethal much further out.
I let a buddy carry it one morning we were hunting together, had 2 gobs come in together but he didn't have a shot so I took one, other bird ran out in field and he smoked him about 60yds.

Btw: your gun looks awesome, mine was black with plain stock.

Going to try a 50/50 mix myself, you worked with it so good enough for me. Did you actually weigh the shot or use a empty wad to establish amount? The TK is one good-looking SG for sure. Not sure about the thumbhole stock when I first picked it up. When we hook up this fall I let you send a couple. Took one round and I�m hooked, it is like holding one of my hand cannons with a stock! Your hand just naturally falls in place, very easy to carry especially in a cradle carry. Now this is NOT a knock but a observation on my part. The stock is a molded product so at the parting line there is a bit of a flash present. No issue to speak of, the line runs down the stock towards the butt and inside the thumbhole. It�s more of a feel then sight, a little dressing with fine sand paper (180/200) and perfect. I�m right brain left brain on a red dot on this or not. I have high end red dots on all of my firearms except my 300 Weatherby. If it weren�t single digits with winds here this morning I would have it out now! :D
 
I had an Aimpoint red dot on mine. As a matter of fact I still have the aimpoint and its for sale...I have a few rifles with thumbhole stock I really like them. I have a previous wrist injury so a thumbhole fits me well....I did not weigh my shot just used the shot cup to measure the amount.

Good choice in optics Roost. :D All of my handcannons have AimPoint 9000SC 2moa scopes. What model and $$$$$. The only reason I have been reluctent to place one on top is that is very little room to install the primer. Not so much in but getting it out.
