What bullet do y'all recommend for a 50 cal disc elite? I'll be shooting 100 grains of 777 loose powder. I thought about trying the Barnes 250 grain expander. Always open to input from more experienced shooters. Thanks!

250gr Bloodline. Shot them out of a couple different disk extremes using 100gr pyro pellets, 110gr Triple seven, and 80gr of Blackhorn with real good accuracy. The 80gr of Blackhorn will put them through almost the same hole at 50. Shoot the 220gr ones out of my CVA optima pistol and they shoot great as well. Absolutely devastating on deer.

Lehighs newer Controlled Fracture ML bullets are offered in 230gr, 240gr and 265gr for about the same price as Barnes Expanders. Lehigh makes the brass Bloodlines for Knight but the CFs are copper. Another good Barnes is the 45LC 225gr XPB.

You will need to check but if the Expanders fit your bore well it should be the MMP HPH-12 sabot. You can buy just the sabot at MMP or Midsouth Shooters Supply.

And if you have not already, Lehigh sells the best bare primer conversion for the Elite. Its about $30 plus around $7.50 shipping. You wont need to use the red plastic jackets with the conversion.

Breach plug $16.50

Adapter for the bolt $14.50
