I have an older model Knight MK-85, 50 cal. I have always used the #10 or 11 percussion caps and have never had a misfire (in 15 years). Im wanting to try the BH209. Im currently using the Pyrodex pellets. I dont have any complaints at all with what im currently using, i just hear alot of good things about the BH209 and also wanted to try a different powder weight/bullet combo. My concern is that i have read alot about the quality of Knight parts/rifles since 2009 and wanted some feedback. I hear some say that they drilled out the hole in the breech plug to a slightly larger size to ensure proper ignition. That concerns me. You shouldnt have to do that. Also, im not familiar with jackets and such. I hear they can be more difficult. Any feedback would be appreciated. Im starting to believe the old saying "if it aint broke, dont fix it" might apply here...
