Kids shooting sticks?

I need to get my daughter some shooting sticks of some sort, she doesnt have the arm strength to hold a rifle steady for a clean shot, (she's 10 and a little on the slim side) I have taken a adjustable hiking stick and put a gun rest on top and she does good with it but i'm wanting a factory made one.. dont know if I need one with 1,2, or 3 legs.. any suggestions? thanks!

Three legs with a top that will rotate. That will be the steadiest.

I much prefer an adustible tripod. It is much more steady. They make the rubber "V" gun rests that screw onto a camera tripod that will also give her the ability to "swivel" rather than having to move the "legs" on a double leg rest.

For a higher dollar rest, but one that REALLY workd well for a young person or person with disabilitied, check out the rest from Caldwell that actually holds the gun like their Lead Sled. They work extremenly well.

I am partial to 2 legs. I am never on flat ground and adjusting 3 legs just aggrevates me.

Primos Trigger Stick. We have the short bipod model and its perfect for the way we hunt on the ground. I usually sit with my back to a tree and let my son sit between my legs. I can help him adjust the height and he can lean his shooting elbow against my leg. Makes a pretty solid rest, even for a little guy. He's seven and killed six deer last season.

I know you said you want a store bought stick but honestly I prefer a stick. I mean a literal stick. They are cheap and available. You can get one off the ground on the way to your hunting spot. When shooting from a sitting position the stick gives verticle support while your knees give horizontal. As the season goes on, I usually lean a good shooting stick up against all my favorite trees and leave them there. I have a Harris bipod - which is fine - but you can't beat the simplicity of a stick.

I have one for my kids ! They are awesome, and so steady. Well worth every penny. They will not take up much room in a blind. Like shooting off a table rest. NoNo doubt you will be impressed.

Work great. What my boy uses. Tripod and screw on shooting monopod "V".

Light, doesn't take up a lot of room and swivels easily from side to side.

I just, and I mean JUST, saw an ad for an adjustable 3 leg shooting stik that had a release adjusting trigger that will allow all three legs to adjust at the same time. Looked pretty useful to me. I think Jim Shockey has his tm on it.
