Kastmaster spoons

Just wondering if anyone else fishes with spoons? The perch in my other post were caught on Kastmasters jigged verticley. I also catch trout, walleye and even bass on them but yet you never hear of anyone who use's them. For such a inexpensive lure they are very effective! I wonder why they aren't more popular...?

I bought a card of three at Walmart,because they looked good, something that white bass(and trout would go for on my occasional trout trips). I tried one this summer from the bank for the perch, but I quickly put it down because I was catching fish on minnows right along. Where I'm fishing without a boat and with a gently sloping bottom, its about impossible to vertically jig one, or any other lure for that matter.

Use them all the time at the beach. Catch bluefish, spanish mackrel and lady fish. Have also caught a couple of redfish on them.
