I had a Kahr P45. I liked it a lot and it shot well. Never had a malfunction of any sort. The handle was too long for me to conceal it. If I was a bigger person it wouldn't have been an issue.

Thanks. I had been hoping I would come across a P45 for a while now and thought this was one until I picked it up. I haven't held a P45 but if it handles as good as this one I'll probably end up with one. Hopefully when I get to fire it that doesn't change my mind on the gun.

The P45 was so nice to shoot. Recoil was surprisingly not bad at all. 50 rounds at the range was a piece of cake. I was too skinny to carry it. The handle printed under my shirt and it was obvious something was under my shirt. I hated to sell it. If I don't use my pistols, I sell them.

One thing I will tell you is to read pg 16 of your owner's manual. I had a customer who brought in a Kahr CW45 2 weeks ago because the first round wouldn't feed. The Kahr DAO pistols are designed to chamber the first round by locking the slide open, insert mag, then use the slide stop, NOT inserting a mag then racking the slide. Yours may or may not. If not, now you know why.
