Kahles Scopes????

Can anyone tell me what the dealer cost is on a Kahles Helia CL 4-12x52? Also, what are opinions on this scope as a long range scope? Thinking of trading for a used one to put on a 300 Weatherby for an elk hunt next fall. Thanks for any info.

Swarovski owns Kahles. They use the exact same glass. They are very good scopes.

You won't be disappointed in the Kahles. It will handle any situation that you encounter. I have 2 mounted on a couple of Weatherby's (257wby and 280rem).

That particular model that you referred to is built for long range. Pair it with a good set of Talley mounts and do justice to your Weatherby.

No idea on dealer cost. A Kahles new runs over a grand easily.

Meopta makes a lot of glass for Swarovski. Only the top of the line Swaro's are just barely better than Meopta. So save $1000 and get a Meostar. Go to the optics websites and search for posts regarding Meopta, and Cabela's for customer reviews.
