My son (7yrs) killed this button buck on opening day of the juvy hunt. We saw several deer but most were to far for his shooting skills. This deer came by about 7:10 but he couldnt get settled enough to shoot. Then about 30 mins later he came back through at 45 yards but he still couldn't get the shot. Sun was blinding him through the scope. I finally got the sun blocked enough and the hammer fell. He was quartered away and was a good shot he only ran 20 yards. It my son 2nd of this year and 3rd total. He killed his first last year out of the same shooter house. I still get more excited than he does I think.
