Juvy hunt requirements?

It has been so long I haven't kept up with it.
A buddy wants to know what his son needs.
15 years old
TN resident
Hunter safety certified

What licenses does he need?
Doe he still need the type 94 to kill a doe?
Will not be hunting in a CWD county.

He needs a type 002 Junior Hunt/Fish/Trap license.

He does not need a type 94 permit to take an antlerless deer on the Young Sportsman hunt. The Type 94 permit would be needed to hunt on a WMA with a same a statewide season nonquoata hunt.

He will need a Type 94 permit to take an antlerless deer later in the season during the regular gun season (G/M/A) season that opens on Nov. 23.
