Saturday we had 3 strutters and 3 hens hang up at 80 yards. There was an open spot in the woods and they would strut back and forth looking our way and then drift off. I would call and they would come back to the same spot, then drift off again. After 30 minutes of that they all 3 came out of strut and all 6 went off through the woods. No putts but something wasn't right. We went down to that open spot, stuck out a hen and tried to call them back with no luck. Wish we would've had one of those 80 yard guns I keep hearing about! :crazy:
