I believe I will be taking my first juvenile. My neighbor down the road wants to give it a try. His father wants me to take him. We will see if he commits.

I've got one that can't wait. It's all she's been talking about. Although I'm not sure she'll be able to top last year (her first year hunting):

I'm taking my little cousin next weekend. I've never taken a juvenile before. I'm looking forward to it.

Can be the most rewarding hunting you'll ever experience. Watching my daughter kill two bucks last year was a truly amazing experience. More satisfying than anything I've ever killed.

I'm taking my daughter on her second juvenile hunt this year. She killed a doe and buck last year, and she told me that this year she'd rather just wait on a buck. It's gonna be a great weekend.

I'm taking my nephew. We went today and checked out his stand. Looks like a fine spot to hunt from. Plenty of deer tracks along with a few turkey and coyote tracks and found one good rub.

This will be the first youth hunt my daughter has missed in years. She has softball games Saturday and will probably be too tired to get out Sunday. She has already been hunting though and will hunt afterwards so not that big of loss to her..

Can they use a rifle for this hunt? I've never taken a juvenile but might if my little bro-in-law wants to.

Youth season is my absolute favorite part of the hunting season. I'll be taking my boys and my nephews. Gonna be a lot of fun!

I will be taking my oldest back for his second year. I was fortunate enough to be with my younger brother and nephew when they killed their first deer. Both were on the juvenile hunt. Being with a youngster when they make they first kill is unbelievable.

Love juvy hunt, my son is 8 and has killed 4 does in his past 2 years hunting. He has buck fever bad and is excited to kill a buck this year. So that will be my #1 goal this season. Good luck to all the young hunters this coming weekend.

Me and the 12 yr old girl will be out. Her first year last year, she went 1 for 1 with a heart shot and dropped her in her tracks. What a feeling man!

How does a youth (8 years old) go about checking a deer in? This is my first juvy hunt with my soon to be wifes son (getting married tomorrow) he does have his lifetime but im not sure of what I need to do

I'll be with my 16 yr old daughter at HAAP.
Now Keith buddy when I come up I'm gonna ask her if daddy pulled the gun from her and she better say no. Keep me posted. Stay safe and have fun. What about all those pretty girls of yours? Do they put on makeup before they hit the woods?
