Just started a new lick

Started a new lick yesterday. I put out trace mineral salt just off a well used trail in a clear spot. I found a few good sized rocks and piled a couple of them up and roughed up the ground before I dumped the whole bag. I set the camera about 10 yards off of the mineral site. I'm going back in 2 weeks to check it and I'm thinking about taking some deer cane or something along those lines to help with attraction. Any suggestions to help draw as many deer as possible?

Once they start hitting it regularly just keep the trace mineral granular coming..................and they will too.
