That might be 1/2 price of mine this year lol

I don't know....even with a Sportsman license and a tank of gas, you're still better than $177 !

So easy to prepare! I wonder how many people will overcook the crap out of their $177 backstrap

This has become part of the sport for me.
I will use:
- a broadhead that has a free, lifetime, replacement.
- one arrow for multiple kills
- hunt only high confidence stands
- make multiple kills per sit when ever possible
- butcher my own meat as needed
- share gas expenses often
- and invest in used bows rather than ridiculously expensive new ones.
- enjoy my lifetime license
- do my own European mounts

I like this list. I have done a few additional ones:
- working harder to find deer on public land to avoid costly lease expenses and/or use quota hunts for higher quality experiences
- using hand-me-down equipment from my dad in order to reduce expenses
- starting to re-load ammunition (particularly for my .44 mag pistol) for hunting and/or target shooting
