Just Got Engaged

I thought I'd add this to my favorite forums besides just putting it in the General Forum. I figure it's a once in a lifetime deal for me, so what the heck?

I'm 42, never been married, and have no kids. I never thought I'd be the marrying type. I've always been too selfish or drunk to share myself completely.

But maybe I just hadn't met the right girl before. Elizabeth and I started dating 4 1/2 years ago, and now all I can think about is sharing everything with her for the rest of my life.

I got down on one knee Friday night and begged for her hand. Sometime this summer, I will be marrying WAY up. I think we will be very happy. Just thought I'd share a monster event in my life with you all.
